I don’t think going for replicating the show look is the best choice for me, since I look nothing like Kit Harrington, and can’t grow the beard he has anyway. I fit the book description better than the show one anyway. But I want something that will be easily recognizable as Jon. Any advice is appreciated!

I would take a look at some Renaissance fashion, also some fashion from czarist Russia might help. There was a lot of fur going around.
