Chronicling My Descent Into Madness

20 year old cosplayer and film student.

Largely a blog dedicated to comics and costumery, as well as Potter, ASOIAF, Firefly, Doctor Who, Percy Jackson, and more.

Just finished watching the finale of Green Lantern: The Animated Series. I’d started watching when it first aired, but sort of fell out of it.  I only continued watching for Kilowog, and because my friend convinced me that it picked back up.  And I have to say, it really did. The finale was absolutely INCREDIBLE. It was everything the movie should have been!

The animation does take a while to grow on you, but you do get used to it.  The voice casting is pretty good, Josh Keaton’s Hal Jordan reminds me a lot of Nathan Fillion’s (always a good thing!) and Kevin Michael Richardson is by far my favorite Kilowog to date! The series even managed to make me like Saint Walker, a character I’ve never really cared for in the comics.  And as you can see by looking at the GLTAS tag, the two original characters, Aya and Razer, are fantastic. I can’t wait to see where they take them in the future.

Apparently next season we’re getting Guy Gardner, which I am stoked about, and I’m really hoping we’ll get Sinestro as well.  He was the one part missing from this season.

In other words… I can’t wait for season two, Poozers!

You’re now a Fantern, welcome! Bruce Timm’s style works so very well in CGI, I adore it. And yes, Guy is going to be in...
