It depends on the kind of tools you have, but it would be possible even with a hand saw. For that, a dovetail saw would be your best bet. Has anyone ever tried modifying LARP weapons...
Looking into making Longclaw (Jon Snow’s sword), and it seams like my best bet for con friendly swords are LARP ones. But at the very least I need to know how difficult it would be to remove the pommel, so that I could replace it with a custom one.  Has anyone tried this? I know they usually have fiberglass cores running through them, but do they go all the way through to the pommel? If so,...
