“Whenever you’re going through a bad day just remember, your track record for getting through bad days, so far, is 100%; and that’s pretty damn good.”—My amazing friend (via pain-is-temporary-keep-fighting)
Thanks! It’s still a WIP, but I’m really excited about it. The elbow isn’t in at all yet, the hand is still in the rough stages, and we’re extending the shoulder out to cover more of the chest/back.
Still need to go wig shopping, order my contacts (gave in and decided I’d go MCU blue- but when I wear it with the domino mask I’m sticking to comic brown, dammit!), and figure out what I’m doing for the glove.
Ya know, last year I really didn’t mind, but I’ll be honest, but this year I’m actually kind of bummed I can’t be at SDCC. Maybe next year will mark my return. But I hope everyone who’s there has a blast!
Also, with all the news that comes out, as well as the pictures of costumes and everything else, there tends to be a lot on my blog. If you would rather avoid the spam, I’ll be tagging everything as #SDCC2014
Working on costumes while drunk? Nothing too severe. Hot glue burns, jabbing myself with needles or scissors.
Though back in high school (this is a sober injury story), I was working on my boxing glove arrow for Speedy, and put the arrow- metal target head- through my palm, straight to the bone. Still not sure how it didn’t scar.
